About Ji'nan

As the capital of Shandong province,Ji’nan is one of the megalopolitan and deputy provincial cities. It’s the political, economic center as well as the scientific, educational and cultural center of Shandong province.

Peking-Shanghai railway and Jiaozhou-Ji’nan railway join here; it is the traffic hub of railways, highways and aviation. Being the regional financial center, Ji’nan also shares the reputations of “Spring City” and “Ji’nan spring is the best spring in the world” with its seventy-two famous springs. The beautiful natural scenery and numerous places of interest make it into one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China. The springs spread everywhere and the water is clear,sweet and pure.

Baotu Spring Garden

Located in the center of Ji’nan city and occupying an area of 10.5 hectares, Baotu Spring Garden is a natural spring garden dominated by springs. With a history of more than 3,500 years, Baotu Spring is the number one spring of seventy-two springs in Ji’nan, and is called “Number One Spring in China”. The maximum water yield in peak period reaches 240,000 cubic meters per day. Three springs gush large quantity of water, shaping the peculiar scenery of “Baotu suspend in air”,which is one of the Eight Sceneries of Ji’nan. Being the national AAAA level scenic spot, Baotu Spring Garden is also a traveling place famous at home and abroad.

Heihu Spring

Heihu Spring is one of the seventy-two famous springs and ranked second only to Baotu Spring.

Daming Lake Garden

Daming Lake Garden lies in the north-east of Ji’nan with an area of 86 hectares, and a lake-area of 46 hectares. With an average depth of 2m, Daming Lake shares the reputation of “no rise in raining, not dry in drought”. Daming Lake is full of places of interest, such as Lixia Pavilion, Tiegong Temple, Beiji Cabinet, Huibo Building, and etc.
